Self-proclaimed “wooden boat freaks” from as far as australia pored over the entries and soaked in the details. this year, tahoe boats were the marquee class, so that meant there were plenty of entrants that didn’t have to travel far.. I went down to the tahoe keys marina for the 5th annual south lake tahoe classic wooden boat show, and i got to see a bunch of great antique boats and classic boat reproductions; and got to talk. Lake tahoe concours d' elegance celebrated its 40th anniversary august 10 - 11, 2012 with the rivaaquarama as the marque class. the collection of nearly 100 antique wooden boats gathered once.
