Floorboards In Toilet

If the floorboards are gappy, then i wouldn't do it. as well as the splash issues it may be draughty and make for a horrid cold bathroom. could you lift the floorboards and relay them on a cheap but solid under floor of some sort?. I have already fixed a leak from the toilet, the poorly sealed bath and taps and a leak from the cold water pipe leading to the sink. however it appears that the floorboards under the bath and elsewhere are rotting.. Well you must be psychic because when i pulled the toilet pan away from the connector it fell through the floor a little - thankfully not all the way and i managed to pull it back up! you see the bathroom floor is raised a couple of feet above the main flooring and the floorboards underneath the toilet now need to be replaced..

Hi well we had the bright idea of taking the carpet up in the toilet and sanding / varnishing the floorboards. omg, my oh has managed to sand about a third of the floor so far and the stink from the floorboards ick:. there was carpet in there before which wasn't that old and didn't smell.. My downstairs wc currently has the toilet removed and the laminate flooring has yet to be laid. should the toilet be fixed onto the floorboards and the laminate laid around or should the toilet be fixed on top of the laminate flooring once laid?. Surprisingly, laminate flooring is a better bathroom flooring choice than solid hardwood. laminate flooring is no more than resin-impregnated paper atop a wood chip base. the surface of laminate plank is actually a photograph of oak, cherry, slate, marble, or any other wood or stone..
